Bahrisons Booksellers

They don't have huge Verity of books. Most of the books I needed were out of stock. Staff is also not very helpful. They loved their own chitchat more than assisting you. As per the size of shop they have more than required staff. But most of them are talking among themself.. on asking help, pointing to other " ask him" ..

Good

0ne of the best booksellers of Delhi and this store especially can be called a book lover's delight. Stuffed top to bottom with more books than you can imagine with staff that know what you are talking about and also recommend you books based on your interest. Smaller in area than their saket or khan market store but doesn't lack in book stock or variety. You name it they have it. A must visit whenever you get the itch to delve into a whole new world. I personally went to buy one, came with 3 books.

Loved to visit this place... Pros- You will find the best books collection here. Very friendly staffs. Very nice vibe being around books. Too quality books. Cons- Very expensive. No discount whatsoever.

Look I'll be honest.. I love the store, very well stocked with wide variety and I've been going there for 5-6 years now. (Ambience mall, vasant kunj). But one thing makes me give a lower rating- the staff. It is extremely arrogant and mean with customers. To be specific, 2-3 of the new staff members. It's absolutely disheartening, disappointing and infuriating when someone speaks to you in such a degrading or direspectful manner. It should be noted that I am a very regular customer at this store and thats why I have taken to write such a harsh review.

Great collection of books

Humungous collection. The owner is very nice and helps you with everything.

Today i.e. 10th November, Sunday I went to buy books at Ambiance Mall and the person who was doing billing at the cashier point was sooooo rude. His behaviour was soooooo pathetic. Horrible service by Bhari Sons, Ambiance Vasant Kunj Mall. I was sooo pissed off with his behaviour but I didn't react coz I didn't want to stoop down to his level but I would never recommend anyone to go to that place. There are soooo many bookshops. I think Om book shop is thousand times better than this place atleast their cashiers are not rude like them.

I think this bookshop merits visiting. I remember I spotted a harvard business review book on self management but the next day I had forgotten the book's title :p. I explained the situation to the staff who hunted down the book with some help from the computer. I thanked them profusely and was even more happy at their warm and friendly reception of my thanks. Knowledgeable staff and great variety from expensive art books to the little tarla dalal Sanjeev kapoor booklets. sometimes they give discounts. Check out the Forbes india article on them, it is interesting.

It gave out a vibe resembling library. I felt good to be in the store. Great collection as well. Highly recommend. I asked for a gift wrap, they did it without a hassle, wraping was wonderful, and they did it free of cost.
