Om Book Shop

Well stocked and maintained bookshop. Helpful staff. A disappearing tribe. I try to visit and buy occasionally, as a meagre contribution to ensure they stay afloat. Still, they need to do more to survive. Some events would be nice.

The bookstore has a wide variety of books and categories of books to choose from. The store is well organised. There are books for kids too. It has a good stationary section for pens, notebooks, colours, etc. They recently came out with some colourful bags for kids.

I visited Om after a long time yesterday on my way back from PVR at Promenade. And like always it didn't cease to amaze. With less time on hand, I hadn't been to a bookstore in a while, generally buying most books online. But if you are a bibliophile, the sheer pleasure of touching a book, sifting through the crisp pages and reading an excerpt to figure if it works for you can't be outdone. It is that magical wonderland Om takes you back to and if you used to frequent your neighbourhood book shop as a kid, visiting Om will make your nostalgic. The spread of the titles is fabulous, mostly something you may not find online readily. There are discounts on offer if you become a member and it is free to become one. Visit Om and you will never buy a book online again! Highly recommended.

Its a nice bright place with limited titles. Common popular ones wud be available but not beyond that.

Watch out for deceptive offers. They display discount which at check out is not applicable. And the cashier comfortably ignores the sign out up for the discount. Not the most customer oriented shop. Skip it.

Not worth going to. Not enough collection. Still selling cliched 10 year old books. A huge section (compared to their shop size) is dedicated to harry potter and percy jackson. Too many copies of Meluha books, atomic habits and other such old bestsellers still adorn the shelf. Best would be to search bestseller category wise on google and order from amazon or flipkart. To top it all, the old man manning the counter is not interested in his job. His expressions are too hateful towards the few customers who do end up buying books. He answers questions with a look of disgust.

Always good to be here, I've been visiting this store for 5 years now and it has always been well kept and welcoming. They have an exhaustive collection of books that range from bestsellers to classics to children's books, encyclopedias and even comics. One of the best things however are the little futons that let you sit and browse through a book before you buy it. Excellent!

They tell that there is a Discount, but when you ask them they shove payment code in front of you, then become all rude when you push back. They may have a Fancy looking store but they have no Manners and are not customer oriented. Would not recommend. Far better to get books from Amazon or other stores and put such a Deceptive Business out of Business.

It is a very nice place for people who love to read... It has one of the craziest collection I have ever seen in my life.... Thumbs up

This place is situated inside the mall on the second floor nearby the Cinemas, This book store have good options to purchase all the books and study stuff for kids including the Novels as well for Adult audience.overall it's a nice place to visit,you will feel good after visiting it.
