Ram Chander & Sons Toy Store

Hello Readers, Glad that you are reading my review, also if you find it worth it too (to know how many of you read it 😂) I don't know but people say, it's the oldest toy shop (it could be, I don't have conflict with it) The owner uncle is Jolly, well educated, well spoken, and is cute when you see him. Key conversation (store is small and any conversation is easily audible from any corners) one customer was having with him old uncle (in English) is [Male Customer with his wife, buying toys for their Child) Male Customer: My relation with this shop is very old, my father got some toys when I was a kid, and look now I am buying for my Kid from the same store. Husband : (to his wife in front of cash counter owner) : The toy which you see at home was bought for me from this store. Wife: Nods her head. Uncle : Listening Husband: I got the toys when I was young, now see I'm 35 and buying from same store. Uncle: who was listening till now, responded bit affirmatively "THERE IS NOTHING YOUNG AND OLD AS SUCH" The conclusion I drew from this, as it was an appreciation, uncle could have acknowledged and thanks, but he countered the Customer, which I think showed how much Jolly, well educated you are you still need to acknowledge the customer and don't fall into a debate with customer. However the staff there seems to have no interest in selling the product and convincing/suggesting customers about their purchase. No willingness to sell the product. We visited today on the 17th of Feb 2024, although the items were a bit over priced, but we were okay to purchase for gifting purposes, and we could have bought if the staff was convincing. As for most of the interaction, as a customer i had to do with Support staff not the owner, i rate this place as 🌟🌟.

Vast collection of toys with extremely helpful salespeople - knocking off one star because some of the items meant to be sold individually are deliberately packaged into "combo" deals constraining flexibility.

Great place for not just for kids but also for collectors, wide variety of toys available. The best part is the people who work there , very kind and friendly

Got the F&F honda at mrp although had to get it as a set which I understand but can be annoying too 😅 …

A few weeks back, my friend and I visited this store. Out of curiosity, my friend asked the staff, How long has this store been open? It's really beautiful, I've never seen it before. The old owner replied, 'Are you guys even educated?' He continued and said my grandson is much younger than you, but he's definitely more educated. Didn't anyone teach you anything?' My friend and I smiled and didn't respond. He then asked us about our schooling and graduation. We realised we were unaware of the store's history, but we didn't appreciate his rude tone.

Oldest Shop, but having very Limited Availability and no discount at all. Only on MRP

A pathetic shop .....I don't feel the need to say anything else though all the reviews already have mentioned the behavioural problems by the employees of this store . Scalping hotwheels is one of the mal practises being followed here .

Really disappointing experience. Everything is overpriced and they try to push items on you. MRP doesn’t seem to matter here, they just charge whatever they want. Honestly feels like they’re trying to rip off customers. I’d suggest going somewhere else. Giving 1 star only because I can’t give less.

The main owner is rude . He does not know how to talk with people. He expects people to be quiet and just buy and go or else he will tell his experience that in his school people would be thrashed if they talked in a certain way .
