BIG BOOK BAZAR - DARYAGANJ

When i visited book market 4 years back it was very different and very good with alot of small vendors , This place is very different now , with limited options like 7-8 shops... And no small vendors. For medical and engineering books there was only 1 shop open. Just horrible experience, better to go daryaganj on weekdays.

Notebooks and other materials are costly. It is better to buy from Daryaganj Sunday Book Market. Worst experience ever.

The most economical shop for all your stationery needs. Nice collection of coffee table books and dictionary. Best part is most of the books, copies and registers started from 100rs. Per kg to 300rs. Per kgs.

I am really satisfied with the books i wanted to buy and finally found there. Other than this most items are being weighed and prises are according to tht. Awesome place to get books at cheap rates although the more famous book titles aren't sold at per kg rate and rather have fixed price associated with them. Also the shop has a large collection of stationary which would make anyone's trip worth while. To get famous titles at cheaper rates you may rather check the vendors at the street rather than going to a store in Daryaganj.

There are lots of classic old and new books available here. Only problem is poor indexing. Considering the price discount they offer it is offering indexing is not much of an issue. Both Hindi and English literature is available but major focus is on English literature.
