A place where you can find books(novels, story books in more than 3 languages) and all type of stationary (literally anything) that too at the rate of per kg. Apart from that you can also buy begs and other random imported stuff.
It is called dariyaganj. As everything available in delhi so it is also a part. Book are available on low rate.there are some novel on kg rate .best seller rate of kg is high. Every book u can purchase here in low rate .example satish chandra book print rate 410 but i have purchase in 120 only .believe it .for coming here in should come to laal quila then 500 m from jaama masjid
The books were of mediocre quality, though you can still find good quality books under decent price but it will be tough job. Good for general stationary too.
As usual lots of books bought. I took 3kg books only in 600 there were notebooks books novels stationery and what not available and most of the things one can buy according to weight
Dariya ganj As the name says that it is the driya of books. Novels were sold in kilos just like 20Rs 1 kilo If you have interest in reading books don't waste mony online or book store just visit dariya ganj and select you books
Only for books don't expect cheap price on notebooks. ₹100/kilo it's just a marketing strategy for notebooks if you weight them you will find the difference of only₹4 or ₹5
Crowded, a typical scene of Darya Ganj. Various genres of books are available here. I bought a few autobiographies of some famous person who I adored. Go in, grab what you want and pay for the book and straight to the exit. Claustrophobic 😌 …
Very good place to purchase Cheap but old books . Caution : Go in morning as collection will be vast , Try to bargain as much as possible. You can also pur hase NCERTs and Other competitive Books at good rates.
Dariyaganj Sunday market Try going early . probably by 11 am . because after 2pm most of the best buys are over and you are left with very less option, moreover it turns into a general book market then . Most street shops wrap up by 5pm.
It is a absolutely amazing place to visit. You can find cheap books in reasonable price and in good condition. Stationary items are also available.
