Subject: Formal Complaint Regarding Rude, Arrogant and Unprofessional Behaviour by Staff at Mother Dairy Sector 4, Pushp Vihar – Milk Booth No. 78 Dear Mother Dairy Customer Care/Management, I am writing to formally bring to your attention a deeply disappointing and unacceptable experience I had today at Mother Dairy, Sector 4, Pushp Vihar – Milk Booth No. 78. I visited the booth to purchase milk as a regular customer. I purchased a substantial quantity of milk and, after noticing that the expiry date was only the following day, I simply asked the staff member a very normal and reasonable question in a polite manner: “Bhaiya, doodh kharab toh nahi hoga na?” Instead of responding professionally or reassuring me regarding the product, the staff member reacted in an unnecessarily aggressive, arrogant and disrespectful manner. He immediately said: “Tu doodh wapas kar de, ye le tere paise.” I calmly told him that I was only asking a question and had not objected to purchasing the milk. However, rather than resolving the matter politely, he continued behaving disrespectfully and said words to the effect of: “Tu mat ja, koi aur le jaayega.” He then physically pulled the milk back from me, took the milk away and returned my money. I would like to make it absolutely clear that I did not use abusive language, raise my voice, misbehave with him, or show any form of disrespect whatsoever. I was speaking to him politely and addressing him as “bhaiya.” I was simply exercising my basic right as a paying customer to ask a question about the freshness and expiry of a product I was purchasing. What made the incident even more distressing was that I was accompanied by my father, who is physically handicapped and has paralysis affecting half of his body, and this entire humiliating interaction took place in front of him. The staff member showed absolutely no basic courtesy or consideration while speaking to me. The use of “tu–tadak” language, an unnecessarily confrontational tone, arrogance and dismissive behaviour towards a customer is completely inappropriate for someone representing a reputed brand such as Mother Dairy. I have been visiting this Mother Dairy booth previously, and I would specifically like to mention that the older staff member and the previous staff member were courteous, respectful and knew how to deal with customers professionally. I never experienced such behaviour from them. The current staff member’s conduct was markedly different and, in my experience, completely unacceptable. A customer should be able to ask a simple question about the expiry date, quality or freshness of a food product without being insulted, spoken to rudely or made to feel unwelcome. If a customer has paid for a product, asking a genuine question about its safety and freshness is entirely reasonable. I therefore request Mother Dairy management to kindly investigate this incident and take appropriate action regarding the conduct of this staff member. I would also request that the concerned booth’s staff be reminded of proper customer-service standards, respectful communication and professional conduct. I am not raising this complaint merely because the milk was taken back. The real issue is the manner in which I was treated as a customer. No customer should have to tolerate unnecessary arrogance, disrespectful language or humiliating behaviour while making a perfectly legitimate purchase-related enquiry. I hope Mother Dairy will take this complaint seriously and ensure that such behaviour is not repeated with me or any other customer in the future. Please acknowledge this complaint and inform me about the action taken after your investigation. Location: Mother Dairy, Sector 4, Pushp Vihar Milk Booth: No. 78 Incident: Unprofessional, disrespectful and discourteous behaviour by staff member Date: 23 September 2026 I expect a prompt and appropriate response from Mother Dairy management. Regards, Utkarsh
