This is the best place in South Delhi to buy real South Indian stuff. The shop is always very crowded and you'll be lucky if you are attended immediately and provided with your purchase. During South Indian festivals, you can get here typical fruits and flowers like sugarcane, banana, etc. One star less for poor parking facility. Finding a place to park a bike is sometimes too difficult.

This place is a mecca for south indian goodies. You can get pickles and specialist items that are hard to find anywhere in Delhi. A mini South Indian Market it is. Teeming with South Indians shopping for their kitchen.

let me say this at the very beginning ... my views are perhaps a bit hued with nostalgia. i remember the store from the late 70s, and perhaps also end up comparing it's present presence with the 70s milieu. frankly speaking, now there's a pressing need for a non-existent parking facility. the store itself is a "has-all" for south indian family. billing takes a long time. i wish i could order provisions online, and maybe go and pick it up.

All South Indian items are available here including some South Indian specific vegetables. Quality of items sold is very good. If they can start delivery in Gurgaon and other NCR areas it will be a boon to those residing in far away areas.

One stop solution to get the Groceries of South India. Snacks are also available at reasonable rate considering the distance. They offer door delivery too with some minimum purchase limit. Card payments allowed and Tuesdays are usually off for them. Only challenge is, it's a bit congested to look for the desired things.
