This is one of those places where one lane leads to another and you might be here for hours, but not repeat the shops. Though mostly it's a market for hardware, sanitary fittings type of mundane stuff, but still it's a designer's dream, if you want to decor your house...there are super skilled workers like this guy working on a lathe machine and churning out beautiful designs on wood. Pity his workshop is a dingy basement, barely 20sq ft area, but that doesn't deter this fellow from churning out the best of woodwork, nor does it dampen his enthusiasm! There's always something new to discover and learn! Flip side is the filth on the streets, and stares that women often get... and I wonder why!... overall, wear comfortable shoes and be ready to elbow your way through the narrow lanes and jump over puddles, and you'll extract the full potential of this market. Swachh Bharat seems unheard of here...are the authorities listening please?

Went to Gurudwara road to purchase gardening tools, seeds, insecticides n fertilizers etc. There r few shops selling hobby gardening tools, seeds etc. Found them to be okay. I have spent more than 8-9 thousands to get a yield of one thousand only. This way one can understand the plight of a small farmer though mine was purely hobby based one.
