I feel very lucky to be a student of such an amazing makeup artist and mentor. Her teaching style is easy to understand, and she patiently explains every technique in detail. She always motivates us to improve our skills and gain confidence. The practical training, professional guidance, and supportive environment have helped me learn so much. I would like to share my personal experience with Preeti Gehera Ma’am, from whom I got my bridal makeup done around one and a half years ago. When I arrived at the studio, my hairstyling started first, and after some time Preeti Gehera Ma’am came in. The first thing I noticed was that she filmed a video exactly like the ones she posts on social media—greeting brides warmly, smiling, and appearing very friendly. Watching her videos had made me excited to meet her because she seemed extremely sweet and approachable. However, my actual experience was quite different. When my makeup session started, she did not ask me about my preferred bridal look or makeup preferences. Throughout most of the makeup process, there was very little conversation. She was quiet and did not interact with me in the warm and friendly way that is often shown in her videos. I kept thinking that perhaps I had expected a more personal and engaging experience because of what I had seen online. What surprised me most was that once my makeup was completed and the cameraman arrived, her behavior changed completely. Suddenly, she became very sweet, expressive, and interactive, asking me how I liked my makeup and creating the same kind of content that is posted on social media. As a bride on my wedding day, I was emotional and happy, and that moment was captured beautifully on camera. But the moment the recording ended, everything went back to normal. The warmth and interaction seemed to disappear as soon as the camera was turned off. That made me feel that there was a significant difference between the on-camera experience and the real one. The room where my makeup was done had very bright lights, so initially my makeup looked beautiful and flawless to me. However, when I stepped outside into natural lighting, I felt that it looked somewhat different from what I had seen inside. I wasn’t sure if it was because of the lashes, lenses, or lighting, but I wanted to discuss a few concerns and possible adjustments with the lead makeup artist after my hairstyle, draping, and overall bridal look were completed. Once everything was finished, I asked if I could meet Preeti Gehera Ma’am because I had a few questions about my final look. To my surprise, I was informed that she had already left, even though there were still brides present at the studio. This was the most disappointing part of my experience and, in my opinion, highly unprofessional. I had paid a significant amount specifically for the expertise of the lead artist. If a bride has any concerns, doubts, or wants reassurance about her final look on such an important day, the lead artist should be available to address them. I understand that she may have felt that my makeup was complete and looked good, but I believe a bridal makeup artist should ensure that the bride is fully satisfied and has no concerns before leaving. This is only my personal experience, and I cannot speak for anyone else’s. However, I did feel a noticeable difference between the personality presented on camera and the experience I had in person. Combined with the fact that she left before I had the chance to discuss my concerns, it left me feeling disappointed and that the service was not as professional as I had expected. This is simply my honest personal experience.

I’m ex student of Preeti gera academy, I had a great learning experience at the academy. The senior makeup artists and hair trainers were very supportive, patient, and always ready to help. The environment was positive and friendly, and I learned a lot during my course. Ma’am’s masterclasses were really helpful, preeti ma’am is love for real she is such a sweetheart and she did spend some time with us whenever possible. I just wish we had a little more interaction with her during the practice sessions. Overall, I’m happy with my experience I will never forgot these golden days of my life and grateful to the whole team. Highly recommended!
