We were looking forward to decorating our home this Diwali with new curtains but this enterprise ruined our day. I will review the store very objectively: We were shown the D’Decor catalogue from which we selected our preference and were given an estimate of 18 - 22 K as per our requirements. The tailor visited the next day for final measurements. Post which the quote shot up to 28.9K which was way beyond our estimate. When we called up the store they stated that as per the tailor measurements the number of curtains were increased. When we said that we did not want to go ahead with the purchase we were told that the cloth had already been cut and the order could not be canceled. Point 1: they did not confirm with us even though the estimate had increased by more than 30%. All that we could do was haggle and bring the price down. They finally quoted 26500. We also gave in at this point. On the day the curtains were ready, we personally went to pick up the order. To our great disappointment the colour of the prepared curtains did not match the catalogue sample we had selected. It was visibly plain that the final colour was not the same but they kept trying to justify that there are always minor variations from the catalogue which is not possible if you have standardised material. Point 2: your final product may not match the catalogue sample that you selected. This was a major disappointment after spending so much. While we were arguing with the owner regarding the difference in the D’Decor sample and our final curtains he said ‘aap D’Decor le ke bar bar kyun bol rahe ho’. This made us doubt whether the product we finally got was even the one we paid for. Point 3: The brand you pay for will not be the brand you get. In fact I would not be too surprised if they stitch with local material after promising you a certain brand. All in all I would suggest you pay a bit more and look for better service from recognised stores. Lal’s furnishing just above this store would probably be better

It was a horrible experience. Never buy it from this store. Firstly the owner of the store Mr Nilesh doesn’t know how to talk to customer. They take advance from you and then they charge you way more than what was decided. They give you reasons like the curtain cloth has already been cut and the order was already placed for the higher amount without your concurrence. And finally the product what you ordered isn’t the same. The colours are different. I doubt whether the products what they sell as D Decor products are the real one. Very bad experience. Please don’t go to this store.

This shop gave me one of the worst customer experiences I’ve ever had. After taking my order and full advance payment, they stopped answering my calls the moment their promised delivery dates passed. Every new date they gave was just another lie. I even had to travel twice from Vasant Kunj just to check if they were still operating — that’s how unreachable they became. The owner, Nilesh, would confidently commit to a delivery timeline and then disappear without a trace. His manager, Prem, would brush me off with “Aap sir se baat kar lo” and promptly disconnect. Two weeks of this runaround felt like pure mental harassment. If you care about your peace of mind, your money, and basic professionalism — stay far, far away from this shop.
