Consulted Dr Anil Arora as a second opinion for necrotizing acute pancreatis. The patient, my cousin, was under treatment of another doctor, in some other Hospital. Dr Arora remained in constant touch via telephone/messages and advised the treating doctors/surgeon time to time. His constant support was a boon as we were going through a terrible time. I met him like any other patient, without any reference, and still the kind of support he gave throughout the treatment (2 months) is really commendable. So anybody out there who thinks that "big" doctors are approachable only through reference, Dr Arora is here to surprise you! I can see many comments here that he does not have time. Yes, he has limited time. A person as knowledgeable and caring as him would naturally be busy in taking care of hundreds-thousands of his patients. But does it mean that the time constraint compromises the treatment ? a BIG NO! He ensures that every patient is attended with utmost care and attention. My best wishes are always with him. May he be an inspiration to others.
