Seema Sondhi - The Yoga Studio

My experience of learning yoga from my teacher Seema Sondhi has been an amazing experience. Her knowledge, patience, kindness, and constant encouragement, instead of judgement, has made me shed inhibitions and embrace yoga wholeheartedly. I am early in my yoga journey but I know with her guidance I will advance and evolve further. For all those who are not avid fitness freaks like me or are afraid to start an exercise form like yoga, I highly recommend Seema as your first stop, and I assure you that like me you will love going to her class with enthusiasm for learning the craft.

I began practising with Seema at the yoga studio in 2014 and continued intensively till 2015, As a teacher she is strict and fun at the same time which is a rare combination. She has been a guide who has influenced my personal yoga journey immensely and now in 2025 a decade later when I have completed my 200 hours YTTC. I am back practicing with her again.

She is the best, she teaches yoga with so much empathy and passion. She focuses on everyone individually and designs your specific yoga journey. She has a lot of compassion, these classes are beginner to advance depending on where you are.

I'm new to yoga and I'm doing this pretty much for the first time now, in my 40s with progressive arthritis of knees. The first few days were a little hard for me, I felt a kind of stress in my knees but I didn’t want to give up. I was feeling like a rusted screw refusing to move or open. But now after 15 days, I’m feeling a big sense of relief. The heaviness I feel in my knees has lifted. And i climbed the two floors to my house without any pain in my knees, for the first time in a long long time. I can’t believe I didn’t do this sooner. Thank you so much, you’re amazing Seema, and the best person to start my day with 🙏🏽

I've been taking yoga classes with Seema for the past six months, and I can’t recommend her enough. She creates such a calm, welcoming atmosphere where you immediately feel at ease. What I appreciate most is the personal touch—she truly pays attention to each person and adapts the practice to individual needs, be it a pregnancy, or for someone recovering from an injury. Her knowledge of the body and the impact of the asanas on the muscles and joints is really impressive. I always feel safe and supported in her classes. Her classes are reasonably priced and there are different timings to suit all sorts of busy schedules.
