My all time favourite Indian store. Fabindia is an Indian chain store retailing garments, furnishings, fabrics and ethnic products handmade by craftspeople across rural India. I love there body care as it’s all natural and quite reasonable. I also like there fragrances and home Decor

Let me start by saying that I have been shopping at fab India for more than fifteen years and I have mostly found things that are to my liking. Over the last two + years since the start of the pandemic,like most people perhaps ,I didn't shop as much for dressy clothes mostly because there was no place to go. Anyway I digress. Having been a loyal patron of this business i can say I have contributed to its success like many of its other patrons have. My last experience of shopping here made me write this review. Here goes- i bought a pair of pants online, this store didn't have my size so they ordered it for me and it was home delivered. Here's a summary of what happened after 1. You can't pay for on online order online , it must be cash on delivery. 2. If you wish to return the item(s) you won't receive cash back you must be satisfied with a voucher. 3. They give you lengthy instructions on the return process which are not only unseemly and arduous they're archaic considering the sophisticated world of e-commerce. Also, the other thing that struck me as I was already miffed about no cash refund, is that this store and its other branches rarely if ever offer discounts , during the pandemic they were forced to begrudgingly start a loyalty program to draw back the customers. Under no scenario will the store give you your money back even if you don't want the merchandise. Once you've given your money to fab consider it gone. In 2021 ,it's no deal! Fabindia was built on the backs of the local community ( least they can do is to be friendly to that community) and while it has expanded it's presence, it hasn't given back to the very community that helped them reach where they are today. Infact they make it difficult for their customers at every turn. It's this spirit of utter stinginess and lack of grace that has made me decide not to shop here even though I like their merch. I'd much rather give my business to a store that is striving for its customers and not just for itself. Do not recommend!

The staff of this particular store of Fab India are horrible. They differentiate between the clients based on nationality and greet only the foreigners. The Indians are left to fend for themselves in the store whereas the staff attach themselves behind a foreigner as if they would pay extra for the clothes. The colonial mindset hasn't really left the country, has it?

My go-to place for shopping for gifts. Lovely range of scarves and kurtas. I've bought clothing for every member of my family from here over a 20 year period. I'm giving it 3 stars for 3 reasons: 1. Staff follows you too closely and it hampers one's shopping experience. 2. Some of their "western wear" is shapeless and boxy-looking, or has too much fabric. Some arm holes are cut too large. 3. For the last 6 months, Khan Mkt branch will not allow customers to use their washrooms by stating that "they are under construction."
