Professional and trustworthy. My wife and I hired his services for our trip to Rishikesh. The hotel where we stayed was fantastic, with wonderful views of the Ganges River. Amazing trip, he took us from Delhi to Agra and Goa, arranged Spanish-speaking guides for us, was very kind throughout, we requested intermediate stops and there was no problem, he took us to local places to eat, always attentive to us.

Ravi's services are affordable, although, as you'll discover upon your return, it's not THAT cheap: To give you an idea, a 30-minute Uber ride (which works perfectly in India and is absolutely safe these days) costs a maximum of 3 euros. A day trip from Agra to Fatehpur-Sikri and back, which you can book through your hotel reception, costs around 12 euros regardless of the number of people in your group. What I mean is, you can also make your own way using Uber. If you decide to hire Ravi (which is rather cryptic), I'll explain what's included and what's not: 1. Transfers with excellent drivers in superb cars that are superior to any taxi or Uber. Fuel, driver's meals, tolls, and parking are included. 2. Read the proposed itinerary CAREFULLY, because anything not listed is not included. Don't assume you have a driver at your beck and call. I realized that on the first day, arriving at 8:00 AM, he only took us to the hotel, so on that first day I was only paying him for a service I could have booked through Uber. When I asked if he would pick us up to do some sightseeing and make the most of the day, he charged me an additional 2,500 rupees (plus another 2,000 for a guide, which I thought was already included). It's not that I think it's expensive, it's that I found his lack of transparency in clearly outlining his services beforehand inappropriate. It seems like he's offering a driver service and helping you with a recommended tourist itinerary so you don't have to look it up yourself, but that itinerary is really just a pre-arranged "agreement" that he considers finalized. You can pay him in euros or dollars, but even though he doesn't tell you, he'll charge a 1.5% currency exchange fee. Ravi can arrange for you to include a guide in the language you need (though I should warn you, their language skills are quite poor), but again, it's necessary for him to explain what's included, because when you book him, it seems like you'll have a guide with you for the entire trip, and that's not the case: 1. We didn't have a guide for the entire first day. I imagine he expected us to do our own sightseeing and find our own transportation as soon as we arrived in an unfamiliar country, where we didn't yet know the basic rules or aren't used to it. So, when I told him I wanted a guide that day, he charged me an extra 4,500 rupees. 2. In each city, there's a different guide, and they're only there for specific tours, so in the end, you have much less time with them than you expected. Personally, we had terrible guides, some pretty bad guides, one decent guide, and one good guide. Their Spanish ranged from awful to decent, though awful was the majority. If you're using a tour service, I recommend you clearly discuss with your guide first thing in the morning what you'll and won't be visiting. Explain your intentions and, ABOVE ALL, make it clear that you don't want them to take you to their friend's shop to buy local products at inflated prices, or to their colleagues' expensive restaurants so they can pocket their commission. They ALL did it, or tried to. We learned this after our first guide and were able to avoid it for the rest of the trip. Also, keep an eye on prices, because we were ripped off, for example, on the price of a rickshaw in Old Delhi to get their commission. I couldn't even trust our own guides. IN SUMMARY: Have everything absolutely finalized before leaving. We started with a budget of 22,000 rupees, went up to 29,000 including individual guides, and ended up paying 33,500 plus tips for additional services on the day of our arrival (which I thought would be included, especially since we arrived at 8:00 AM). The best thing about the whole experience, we must emphasize, was that Tinku, our driver, despite his limited English and nonexistent Spanish, was attentive, kind, and extremely helpful. He deserves a 10 out of 10, and that's why I'm not giving the service just 3 stars.

India can be a complicated trip, but Ravi makes it very easy. He's a very kind, organized, and superb professional; I will always recommend him. Ravi takes care of you and makes you feel safe at all times.

Namaste! Last autumn, the four of us women traveled through Rajasthan. With Ravi as our driver and guide, we were happy and in good spirits for three weeks, and were very well accompanied and informed. Right from the start, we had the pleasure of meeting his family.
