Sarovar Portico Naraina

Fabulous stay at Sarovar Portico Naraina! We needed 15+ rooms on very short notice for our family, and the team sorted it all within a single day , incredibly proactive and professional. Genuinely felt like a 5-star experience. Rooms were amazing, cleaning staff fantastic, and the lunch and breakfast were premium. Big thanks to managers Tanmay and Praful, and to Dheeraj, Davender, and Raza for the wonderful hospitality. Highly recommend! Our check-in experience was very smooth, but unfortunately, the condition of the room was extremely disappointing. The bed was far from comfortable, and the furniture was in such poor condition that it looked like it could break at any moment. The door frames, paint, and overall upkeep of the room were also in very bad condition. We completely understand that maintaining a property is not an easy task, but Sarovar Portico is not a small or unknown brand. We expected a much better standard of room, hospitality, and maintenance from a hotel of this reputation. The main reason people choose a reputed hotel brand is not just for a room to sleep in. As an ordinary traveller, when we book a hotel of this category, we expect to feel welcomed, valued, and a little special during our stay. Unfortunately, that feeling was completely missing here. Throughout our stay, we felt as if the hotel had done us a favour simply by giving us a room, rather than making us feel like valued guests. That was probably the most disappointing part of the experience. Even during breakfast, we noticed a high-end, modern coffee machine that looked impressive, but it was not working due to a lack of proper maintenance. This was another example of the overall maintenance issues we experienced. We had several cheaper options available for our stay, but MakeMyTrip suggested this property within our budget, which is why we chose it. Unfortunately, the experience was so disappointing that it has also made us reconsider booking hotels through MakeMyTrip in the future. Overall, this was a very poor experience, and we sincerely expected much better from both Sarovar Portico and MakeMyTrip. We would definitely not choose to stay at this property again. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I have stayed at Sarovar Portico Naraina, New Delhi twice—once for two weeks in June and again for one week in July—and both stays were consistently excellent. The hotel is located in a very convenient part of West Delhi with easy access to Naraina Industrial Area, Mayapuri, Rajouri Garden, Dhaula Kuan, Delhi Cantonment, and is well connected to Indira Gandhi International Airport and New Delhi Railway Station. This makes it an excellent choice for both business and leisure travelers. The rooms are spacious, comfortable, and well maintained. The linen is always fresh and clean, and the housekeeping team does a great job of maintaining high standards. The food is delicious, and the breakfast buffet offers an excellent spread with plenty of options to choose from. What impressed me the most was the service. Every member of the staff is courteous, professional, and extremely cooperative. They are always ready to help with a smile, making every stay comfortable and hassle-free. The only suggestion I would like to make is to consider adding a small fitness center. Even a basic gym with two treadmills and a few essential workout machines would be a wonderful addition, especially for guests staying for a week or more. It would truly make Sarovar Portico Naraina a complete hotel experience. I highly recommend this hotel and look forward to staying here again whenever I visit New Delhi.
