Hands down, one of the best South Indian flavors in town. The ghee podi dosa is a must-try. The chutneys taste fresh, and the idlis are soft with a very good sambar to go with them. I visited this place after reading so many good reviews and had high expectations. Unfortunately, the experience was very disappointing. The dosa and idli tasted extremely sour, almost like the batter was over-fermented. The aloo masala inside the dosa also didn’t taste fresh and had an odd flavor. We have visited Benne Better & Co today and had an absolutely delightful experience. We ordered the Ghee Podi Idli, Masala Dosa, and Benne Plain Dosa, each dish was bursting with authentic flavors. Benne Batter and Co • Indore – Review Visited recently and tried Benne Masala Dosa, Thatte Podi Idli, and Masala Uttapam. The food was genuinely good — dosa was crisp, idli was soft and flavorful, and overall taste lived up to expectations. The only thing to note is that the Masala Uttapam was on the spicier side, so spice-sensitive people should keep that in mind. The ambience is pleasant, clean, and has a nice South Indian café vibe. Definitely feels worth visiting if you enjoy authentic South Indian flavours. However, the service needs major improvement. It was extremely slow and honestly quite irritating at times. Didn’t expect a Benne Dosa to take 20 minutes to arrive. Overall: Great food, good ambience, but slow service. Worth trying once for the taste!
