Visiting this place was simply a last till forever kinda experience. Being a big foodie and highly picky about what i eat, i didn't really think the food would suffice to my expectations and prove to be this tasty. Honest recommendation and a must try is the Dal Makhani with Tawa Paranthas. Dal was too creamy and perfectly cooked. Also they have tartar sauce which is too tempting when had with Galouti Kebab. Trust me this review isn't sponsored, haha. Do try the things i mentioned above. The worst place you can go to it. We went there because it was one of the few places with non-veg food and drinks. Ended up getting food poisoned by the chicken gravy. Have not been able to stop puking anything that I eat or drink in my stomach. I even puked WATER!! I did not get food poisoned by the street vendors but got food poisoned at this "fine dine". Mind you I am not the only one who got poisoned. My entire family has atleast barfed twice. Don't ever go here unless you want to get sick and miserable. Sanchi - Dum Pukht is a hidden gem for lovers of authentic Awadhi cuisine. The Galouti Kebabs melted in the mouth, and the Murg Dum Biryani was aromatic and perfectly cooked. Absolutely pathetic experience! Worst service ever — staff was careless, food had no taste at all, and the overall vibe was completely dead. Nothing from the liquid section was available, and the team didn’t even bother to inform properly. Spent over ₹10,000 and got nothing close to value — just frustration and disappointment. This place has lost all sense of quality and hospitality. Totally ruined the evening — never visiting again! This is been my favourite restaurant since ages... Going there since 20 years or so. But they keep innovating new dum pukht recipes for their customers and that's there forte. Amazing food and super staff , even the chef always come and take feedback for improvement. I will highly recommend it if you want to have a quite and tasteful evening with your near and dear ones.
