Got a craving for Authentic South Indian food? This place is what you should look upto. They offer the tastiest and most economical south Indian cuisine. The best thing is you can have as much sambhar and chutney as you want without paying extra. Very crowded during weekends and parking might be an issue for four wheelers. My personal favourite is Mysori Masala Dosa for its spicy and yet tangy taste.

I had very high hopes after reading many other positive reviews but they failed miserably. It was really really average experience. Taste is very average. You can get anywhere at Street side that too will cost lesser than this. Plus they don't have Tomato chutney. Their sambhar and coconut chutney was not good. Maybe they used to be good in past only. One of the authentic and simple south indian food serving restaurant. Must try uttapam , masala dosa and filter coffee. Filter coffee is available from morning to evening or by afternoon only .Cleanliness should be improve. Pure nostalgia—visited after almost 25 years, and it felt like stepping back in time. The taste is still the same, authentic and unchanged. The onion rawa dosa stands out and is an absolute must-try. This cafe was nearby our hotel and we were visiting Indore for the first time so we checked Google reviews and went here but we had a MIXED experience with the food. IDLI - we went here around 9:15am and idli was stale/refrigerated as it was cold(not normal or warm) VADA - it was warm, seemed made in morning but not freshly cooked. MASALA PAPER DOSA - we were impressed by this dish after little disappointment with idli Vada. Must Try! TEA - If you are a tea lover and like sweet tea then this is the place. A go-to place and must-visit for all South Indian food😻 lovers. You find guests from singles, couples, youth, families, and even elderly couples in short हर वर्ग, उम्र,के लोग आते हैं. I liked👌 kaju uttapam(actually has kaju pcs), plain dosa (ask to make it more crispy), and coconut uttapam. The USP of the place is very fast service, unlimited refills of sambhar and chutney, cold drinks at MRP rate, and delicious taste. Finding parking for 🚗 four-wheelers is a nuisance. Accepts mobile wallet but no 💳 card machine. Cafe Udupi के बाहर से निकलते समय ऐसा नहीं लगता की वहां एक बहुत ही अच्छा साउथ इंडियन रेस्टोरेंट होगा, मुझे गूगल मैप की साहयता से ज्ञात हुआ कि ये एक लोकप्रिय साउथ इंडियन रेस्टोरेंट है, मैं कल रात को 10:30 पर पहुंचा तो पता चला की रेस्टोरेंट 10 बजे बंद हो जाता है, फिर अगले दिन दोपहर का लंच यहीं करने का मन बनाया, और पहुंच गए cafe Udupi यहां पहुंचने के लिए पहले 11 सीढ़िया उतरो, फिर रेस्टोरेंट में पहुंचो फिर बैठक कक्ष में पहुंचने के लिए 9 सीढ़िया उतरो, फिर याद आए की हस्त प्रक्षालन करना है तो फिर 9 सीढियां उतर कर रिसेप्शन के सामने wash basin पर हाथ धोए, फिर 9 सीढियां चढ़ कर बैठक कक्ष में पहुंचे, बैठक कक्ष में काफी भीड़ थी, पर बैठने की जगह आसानी से मिल गई, आए हुए सभी मेहमान उच्च दर्जे के महसूस हो रहे थे, मैंने ऑर्डर किया मैसूर मसाला डोसा, जिसे आने में करीब 20 मिनट का समय लगा, डोसे में मैसूर मसाले का स्वाद बहुत ही अच्छा था, नारियल की चटनी जो की मेरी पसंदीदा चीज है, उसमे बिलकुल भी मजा नही आया, सांभर में सब्जियों की मात्रा बहुत कम थी, पर मसाले का जादू और गरमा गरम होने के कारण स्वाद जम गया, मैने सांभर को सूप की तरह पिया, फिर हमने सिंगल वडा मंगवाया जो की स्वाद में बेहतरीन था, पर सांभर में सब्जियों के नाम पर केवल लौकी के टुकड़े थे, प्रबंधन चाहे तो अनेक प्रकार की सब्जियां डाल सकते है, इनके यहां की फिल्टर कॉफी बहुत लोग ऑर्डर कर रहे थे, मैने नही पी मगर आप पी सकते है... रेट काफी संतोषजनक है, 140₹ में मेरा पेट भर गया बैठक व्यवस्था अच्छी है, पारिवारिक माहौल है, डेट पर किसी को लेजाना हो तो यहां लाना ठीक नही रहेगा, Ambience बहुत अधिक attractive नही है, भोजन अच्छा है, दाम भी ठीक है, और पौष्टिक भी है Order type Dine in Meal type Brunch Price per person ₹1–200 Food: 4 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 4 Recommendation for vegetarians Somewhat recommend Vegetarian offerings Menu is all vegetarian, Large vegetarian selection, Vegetarian menu or section, Clearly labeled vegetarian dishes Vegetarian options Pure vegetarian restaurant

I have had south Indian food at so many places and this just disappointed me to my core. I ordered a classic Masala Dosa to try, and how can a south indian place go this wrong with it.
