Scored 61.95 marks in GATE 2026 (CS) with an All India Rank of 888. But this post is not about marks or rank. It is about the journey that changed me. I started my preparation in November 2024. Before this, I was not a very consistent person. During my JEE time, I used to get distracted and could not stay focused on one goal. But this one year changed everything. For the first time in my life, I stayed dedicated to one thing for so long. No distractions, no changing paths—just one goal, one direction. The biggest reason for this change is my mentor, Ashish Singh sir. I first attended his C and Data Structures classes, and that is where I got confidence that I can prepare for GATE under his guidance. That became the starting point of my journey. He is not just a teacher for me. He takes responsibility for his students like a family member and guided us with full dedication throughout the journey. The routine was disciplined and at times challenging—but it helped us build focus and strong habits. Today I understand how important that was. His teaching is very clear and deep. He understands students well and knows how to teach in a way that suits each person. Because of him, I started reading standard books, improved my focus, and learned how to study seriously for long periods. I am truly very grateful to him. I would also like to thank Ayush Katariya sir, who became a source of inspiration for me. His journey showed me what consistent effort can achieve and pushed me to stay on this path. My journey at Engenius GATE Classes is something I will always carry with me. It is a simple place—a hall with no fancy things—but for us, it became very special. From morning to evening, and sometimes even night, we studied there regularly. Even without holidays, it never felt like a burden because everyone had the same goal. Slowly, that place started feeling like a second home where I could grow every day. And the people there… they became my strongest support. Some were my seniors, some were my batchmates—but before anything, they became my closest friends. In a city away from home, they became the people I could rely on every day. We studied together, struggled together, and supported each other. Even sitting quietly and studying together gave a different kind of strength. They are not just friends—they are a family I found on this journey, and I will always be grateful for them. This journey also had its challenges, but it helped me grow stronger and more focused. As I look back, I feel only one thing—gratitude. For my mentor, my friends, and this journey that changed me as a person.
