Domigo | Hostel for Dogs

When we came to Indore, we were sceptical of finding a place that could match our fantastic experience in Thane. Happily, a friend recommended Domigo, and there has been no looking back. They are amazing. Our covid baby learnt to socialize with other dogs, she rushes in when we reach. So evidently having great fun. Comes home happy, clean, tired from playing! She also had a lovely doggie pool party ! Keep up the fantastic work folks. Update: We have 2 now and both love the stay at Domigo. The place has only gotten better. The updates are timely with good videos. The fur babies are always eager to go inside when we reach.

A Difficult Experience With Domigo – Sharing for Other Pet Parents I’m writing this based on our personal experience with Domigo while trying to find a safe place for our Golden Retriever, Simba. I truly wish things had gone differently, because we went in with a lot of hope. Before the first trial, I spoke with their manager, Sandeep ji, about all the things that matter to us as pet parents—Simba’s fixed schedule, updates, and how they handle unexpected situations. We were reassured that everything would be taken care of and were encouraged to try their free day-care trial once. On 4th November, Simba was there from 11 AM to 6 PM, with just one simple requirement: giving his mid-meal at 1 PM and updating us. Unfortunately, despite multiple calls and messages, we received a confirmation only around 3 PM, and the update came even later. This left us extremely anxious, yet as the video updates were only about simba’s play time with other dogs and he seemed happy so we picked him happy arround 6pm. On 12th November, their Client Relations Manager, Uttara, reached out for feedback. After hearing what happened, she encouraged us to try once more and assured improved coordination and specially asking us to personally receive simba. We also reconfirmed that should we go for a day trial or a night stay. She mentioned that only in night stay you get to be added to group with updates but not clearly suggesting us what would be better (a day care or night stay). And as the problem was following Simba’s schedule & updates so we choose to go for night stay considering we will be added to group once we give simba to them. We genuinely wanted to believe that things would be better, especially since the owner lives in our society and we wanted to give them the benefit of the doubt. However, the second trial also left us deeply disappointed. We were asked to drop Simba on 14th November at 11 AM and arrived at 10:54 AM, but we ended up waiting outside for around 45 minutes because the person coordinating wasn’t present. Later, Simba’s 1 PM meal was again delayed, and we only received an update after further follow-up. In the video, Simba was still wearing his harness, even though we had clearly requested its removal for his comfort and safety. At that point, we felt it was best to take Simba home immediately. What hurt the most was not one big incident, but the repeated lack of timely communication, delays in feeding, and not following instructions even after reminders. As pet parents, these things matter deeply to us — they give us peace of mind when we leave our fur babies somewhere new. Unfortunately, we didn’t feel that sense of reassurance here. This is simply our experience, and every pet parent may feel differently. But based on what we went through, I would gently urge others to evaluate carefully and make sure any facility can reliably meet your pet’s individual needs before finalizing. Our pets depend on us to choose the right environment for them, and that’s why I felt it was important to share this.

We had left our dog at Domigo and had the best experience. We received constant updates about our dog at specific times and when we really wanted updates they sent us updates then also. We were completely reassured our whole trip. She was initially a bit timid because we don’t leave her alone a lot but by the end of her stay she was having fun and was acting like her usual self. She also had a swimming session which she enjoyed and a great grooming session. We would definitely send her here again whenever required. Thank you so much team Domigo for taking care of our baby.

It was my dog's first time at domingo,He enjoyed a lot I was very worried on how he would adjust with a new environment and people but he adjusted within 3-4 hours and enjoyed a lot and didn't even want to go back home 😁 …

"My experience was extremely disappointing. The safety standards around the swimming pool area appear inadequate. My dog's nail got caught and broke, causing an injury. Such incidents should not happen. Better maintenance and safety measures are needed to prevent harm to other guests and pets. I am very dissatisfied with this experience."
