SPOT ON Hotel Sawera

Hotel Sawera is more like a Haveli of some sort if you ask me. Well, being cheap it provides cheap facilities and services too. The hotel owner is very helpful and understanding.Other than that, the washrooms here are Indian and might not be comfortable for many and some don't come with it.

Rooms are smelling badly, toiletes have no lights, bed is dirty and unhygienic. Even public footpath is better than its rooms. Don't go Don't go they are scammers. They have put pictures of other places on Oyo and Oyo is fooling customers.. Trip type Business Rooms: 1 Service: 1 Location: 1

The hotel business means hospitality - and being polite is the most basic requirement. The hotel owner seemed to have an axe to grind with me because I had booked and paid through the OYO app rather than paying him directly. Well, how was I to know that this hotel even existed without OYO. Nevertheless, he started yelling at me as soon as I entered the premises. I did not intend to spend much time in the hotel room so I decided not to argue with him. But he further decided to punish me as much as he could through passive means - he gave me a room on the third floor and one with twin beds. When I requested him to at least give me a room with a double bed since I had seen an empty one on the way and room photos on the OYO room also seemed to have some double-bed rooms, he had the gall to say that he had fulfilled the requirements and he did not have to accommodate me on anything else (for the reason mentioned previously). He did have a similar room on the ground floor as well. About the room itself, the less said the better. But the toilet was something else - it was stained and the bathroom was poorly lit. Moreover, there was no running water in the room and I had to call the reception to get some for me to take a bath and even at that, the water pressure was worse than you would expect in the Rajasthan desert (to their credit, this tiny amount of water flow was started as soon as I complained about no water - I could not complain about anything else, after all, they HAD fulfilled the requirements). I see that some other reviewers also faced the same issue. So, all in all, this experience was not enjoyable, but rather illuminating (would have been infuriating if I had planned to spend a lot of time in the room)

Absolutely horrible staff. The owner is unreasonable and uses abusive language on the go. I was accompanying a friend who had booked this hotel via Oyo for a night. The rooms were not as per what the pictures showed and due to construction he was given a room on 4th floor with no lift on the building. My friend requested them to check him out so that he could book a room in some other hotel where he could get something on ground or 1st floor floor. This is when all hell broke lose and the owner along with staff started abusing us at their will. We tried to reason with them as we weren't asking for any money and we would deal on our side with Oyo but they refused to check out and we're constantly hurling abuses at us. Never ever would recommend anyone to ever book a room in this hotel. Better to sleep in the nearby Railway Station than book a room here. Trip type Vacation Rooms: 1 Service: 1 Location: 2

I stay there for 2 day I book room from oyo. it was an average experience. I go there because of good oyo ratings but all ratings are fake. room and bads are not clean and they force me to give 5 star on oyo app. Travel group Solo Rooms: 2 Service: 4 Location: 3

All are bad no service at all they were asking extra money for early checking as we said we're looking for 3hr but he gave bad room where not basic amenities available please don't come here cheap room acc to price even worst no one pay 100rs for that room. Rooms: 1 Service: 1 Location: 1

This place is very rediculous. And this hotel staff behavior is very bad. At the tym of check in is not additional cost but at the tym of check off he demands additional money. And if u book any room through oyo then he is always never provide a room.
