Vijaya's Homestay Indore

You really can't beat the price for what you get. In most of Indore, this budget would only get you a tiny room with barely enough space to open a suitcase. Here, I had a separate hall and bedroom. Everything was functional—the geyser worked well, the AC was cold, and the lift was fast. If you are looking for a luxury resort, this isn't it, but if you want a clean, honest place to stay that won't break the bank, this is the best value in the Dewas Naka area. Vijaya’s Homestay is a hidden gem in Indore. The breakfast was fresh and delicious, the rooms spotless, and the hosts treated us like family. It’s so much better than staying in a hotel if you want warmth and comfort. Rooms: 5 Service: 5 Location: 5

Perfect for a one-night transit. It’s very close to the highway and easy to find (right behind the KIA showroom). We arrived late at night, and the self-check-in/24-hour front desk made the process seamless. The parking is secure and right on the premises, so we didn't have to worry about our car full of luggage. The rooms are basic but spacious, and the AC worked perfectly, which is all we really needed after a long drive Rooms: 5 Service: 5 Location: 5

We chose Vijaya's because it was close to Bombay Hospital for my father’s checkup. Having a small kitchenette with a refrigerator was a lifesaver for storing medicine and making light home-cooked meals. The staff was very polite and even allowed us a slightly late check-out since our appointment ran long. The building has an elevator, which was essential for us. It felt safe and much more personal than a large commercial hotel. Rooms: 5 Service: 5 Location: 5

Mixed feelings. The bedroom was clean and the sheets were fresh, but the kitchenette area needed a deeper scrub. There was some leftover grease on the tiles from a previous guest. On the plus side, the location is great for logistics—it's very close to the bypass, so you can avoid the heavy city traffic if you are headed towards Ujjain or Dewas. I'd give it a 3.5 if I could; it’s good, just needs a bit more attention to detail in the corners. Rooms: 5 Service: 5 Location: 5
