I truly feel blessed that my husband and I found Dr. Kanak Priya for this beautiful journey of becoming parents. After having a history of miscarriages and being considered a high-risk pregnancy, I was always anxious about what the future would hold. But from my very first visit until the day I held my baby in my arms, Dr. Kanak Priya made every step of this journey smooth, safe, and reassuring. Thanks to her expertise, constant guidance, and confidence, I was able to deliver my baby through a normal delivery—something I never imagined would be possible for me. One of the best decisions she recommended was getting an epidural. When I reached 4–5 cm dilation, I honestly thought I couldn't continue. The pain felt unbearable, I was crying continuously, and I even called my husband saying, "I can't do this. Please ask them for a C-section." I had completely lost confidence in myself. Then came what felt like a miracle—the epidural. It didn't take away the beautiful experience of childbirth. I could still feel every contraction, the pressure, the urge to push, and I was fully present for every magical moment of welcoming my baby. The pain was still there, but it became manageable instead of overwhelming. Within just about two hours, I was fully dilated at 10 cm and ready to deliver my baby naturally. From my personal experience, I would encourage every woman who is a suitable candidate for a normal delivery to at least discuss the option of an epidural with her doctor. For me, it transformed childbirth from something terrifying into one of the most beautiful and empowering experiences of my life. I also want to appreciate Dr. Kanak Priya's entire team. Every doctor, nurse, and staff member was incredibly kind, supportive, patient, and caring throughout my pregnancy, labor, and delivery. Their compassion made me feel safe and cared for at every stage. Thank you, Dr. Kanak Priya, for giving us the greatest gift of our lives and for making our journey to parenthood so memorable.
