I recently visited Panditji Pure Veg. Restaurant in Indore, and it was fantastic! The restaurant is cozy, and the staff is friendly. The food is amazing, with a wide range of vegetarian dishes. I had lunch at this modest restaurant and it was delicous. The staff don't appear to speak much English but luckily a regular client of theirs (a med student) was sitting nearby and offered to help me order. I had a lovely Vegetable Biriyani with Mixed Veg curry. It was filling and the spice level was perfect for me. They have a pretty broad selection. The only challenge was that at lunch time most of the tables were covered with the plastic trays they use to assemble the lunches they ship out each day to students. On the other hand that's what led me to share a table with the med student and have a great conversation with him. The challenge for me was finding vegan options as it's not always clear from the menu which items have paneer or cream in them. I asked for no paneer or cream. Both the veg biriyani and the mixed veg had small white sprinkles on them which I assume was grated paneer, but it was pretty and such a small amount I wasn't going to make a fuss.

The food was delicious, especially thali, which was rich and perfectly like ghar jesa khana. The staff was friendly and attentive, ensuring a smooth dining experience. Prices were reasonable for the quality and portion sizes. Highly recommend for a dinner or special occasion!
