Nice and cozy place to spend time with friends and family. This restaurant serves vegetarian food only, but, it offers a variety of food from snacks to main course✌✌✌👌👌👌. Even, the prices of the food are reasonable. My personal favorite here is Chilli potato. Moreover, this is easily accessible as it is located in the heart of the city. 😊😊😊😊

Well curated menu which suits your pocket. The manager is an old professional in this segment and knows how to run a well managed restaurant offering the best of service. Do try their platters and rolls. They also have half servings of many dishes which you usually do not find in other places. Will recommend reservation as this place is crowded on weekends and holidays.

I liked the ambience..... Though I went on sunday and it was too crowded but still it was good...nice sitting arrangement and food was also good... Staff was good and staff service was nice.... Just a little suggestion to restaurant person, due to your small name board the name of the restaurant is not easily visible... It takes time to find and read name Alav on the name board being so many restaurants all around.... Otherwise all other things were great

This restaurant is pure vegetarian which provides good variety of jain food as well. The location of the restaurant is very good and easily reachable. The sitting area is a bit small due to renovation happening in the other part of restaurant. The service is a bit slow due to less staff and much crowd. Overall a good place to have good vegetarian food with all varieties of food. Decent ambiance and nicely located. We were 6 adults and 2 Preschooler kids and they gave us ample space to utilise. This restaurant is pricy for services they provide and lacked quality for the price they are charging. Waiters had to be requested multiple times to serve. We received hairs in starter though they replaced it, It spoilt the mood. Overall also we didn't like the food (reason: sweet tomato soup and sweet paneer lawabdar, other things were also not upto the expectations. We had ordered little extra, so in last when we asked 2 vegetables to be packed they wanted to charge for containers, fair enough to charge when the bill is less, however on ₹3K+ bill charging ₹10 for box didn't seem right. They only have packed water bottles on all tables and when your intentions are to charge customers for that, you inform them prior, none was done with us.

Good restaurant Taste and Service is very good

Service quality and Ambience of Alav has gone severly down since it had fire accident a few months back. Last Saturday, I went there with my family for dinner since it reopened. Dishes and glasses were not properly cleaned, I had to ask them twice to clean it. While serving starters, waiter spilled 20% of the food on the table. Even before food was finished on our table they were in hurry to take serving bowls back. Asked for finger bowls twice, they didn't serve. Asked for bill, they didn't give. We had to eventually go to counter, asked for bill there for 3 more times before they gave it. Pathetic experience. Never coming here again!! Decent food but small place. Nothing special in terms of ambience. It get pretty crowded on the weekends. The biggest reason for congestion is that their takeout counter is in the middle of the common seating area, so all the delivery guys keep waiting there itself on your head while you're eating. Also, their service is extremely slow. P.S - Don't order their cheese balls in starters, it's pathetic!
