*Title:* Complete Failure in Time Management *Review:* I visited Retina Hospitality for my aunt's eye treatment, specifically laser treatment, and was given a 10 am appointment. Despite arriving on time, I had to wait until 2 pm for an update, and was told that the procedure wouldn't happen until 4 pm. When I asked why I was given a 10 am appointment, the staff seemed unapologetic. *Issues:* - Poor time management and scheduling. - Unhelpful staff attitude. - Long waiting times without updates. *Suggestions:* - Improve time management and scheduling. - Provide timely updates to patients. - Train staff to be more patient-centric. *Rating:* 1/5
I’m writing this review after more than four years of experience and multiple surgeries at Retina Specialty Hospital, so you can trust my perspective with confidence. Over this time, I’ve had the privilege to observe every detail closely — from remarkable expansions like new buildings and added staff to thoughtful refinements in OR protocols. I’ve also developed genuine connections with many of the staff members. Calling this hospital simply “good” would be a serious understatement — it is exemplary in every aspect. It’s one of the cleanest and most hygienic hospitals I’ve ever visited. The staff consistently wear protective gear such as masks and use sanitizers with meticulous care, reflecting a profound commitment to the principle: “the patient comes first.” The architecture and layout are intuitively designed, making navigation effortless. After years of visits, I no longer need to know the next step because their system is seamless and well-structured. The warmth and kindness of the entire team — from management and nurses to optometrists, assistants, doctors, and surgeons — feels like reconnecting with old friends. That genuine warmth is palpable, and it’s important to remember that kindness is a two-way street. Yes, you might have to wait sometimes, even for hours. But that’s the reality of a trauma care center — emergencies always take precedence. I don’t see delays as frustrating; rather, I find it humbling to witness care given where it’s most urgently needed. On one occasion, I personally saw Dr. Bhargava excuse himself from a professional conference and come in on a Sunday — a day off — to attend to an emergency patient(and on another, rush to the OR during his OPD hours for urgent care). This kind of dedication is truly singular and speaks volumes about the depth of his sense of responsibility. And honestly — what else were you going to do when your eyes are dilated? As someone with special needs, I’m incredibly grateful for the thoughtful flexibility I’ve experienced in the OR. Staff have adjusted and accommodated me countless times with a level of integrity and compassionate care I’ve never seen elsewhere. Every OR team member is actively engaged in patient comfort and well-being, always attentive to any requests I’ve made. Thanks to their highly organized and smooth approach, I’ve been able to remain calm even while on the operating table. You will often be asked to undergo scans during checkups — but these are essential and always for your benefit. It surprises me to see complaints about “too many scans,” as thorough, personalized care should never be mistaken for unnecessary procedures. Being under the care of Dr. Bhargava is like witnessing humble brilliance in action. He is not only exceptionally skilled, precise, and knowledgeable but also an extraordinary human being. On numerous occasions, he has gone above and beyond to ensure patients receive the very best treatment. His unwavering dedication is one of the key reasons this hospital stands out as the premier eye care center in central India. What makes him truly remarkable isn’t just his profound expertise, but his rare devotion and steadfast commitment — qualities seldom seen even in healthcare settings. He lives up to the pedestal on which he’s placed, demonstrating genius that is always humble, never judgmental, and full of quiet promises faithfully kept. This review reflects my experience over more than four years at the hospital. You can hold me to it.
