Most unhygienic and life-threatening meal. We ordered the famous ‘shikanji milkshake’ from this place. After they served us, we saw that the serving boy is taking out the broken glass pieces from the bucket from which he was serving the shikanji to customers. On enquiry, we learnt that a glass had fallen in the bucket and broke into multiple pieces, and instead of throwing away remaining drink, they kept on serving the same to customers. When I objected the same, theowner and servants paid no heed, quickly took my glass back, gave me back my 100Rs. and ignored the entired situation. NON-INDIANS BEWARE My friend and I were visiting someone in Indore from the States. Went to Chappan Dukan for breakfast, got pulled into this place off the street (should have known better, I'm usually savvier than that) and served a big meal, which we enjoyed. Everything tasted good, and we jetted off to Goa. Ho boy. My friend (who ate nothing in Goa) quickly got violently ill after we arrived. I followed her soon after. Nearly two days in paradise barricaded in our room with the worst food poisoning of my life. I've been around India a fair bit and have never had a reaction like this. Sucks because the people and food were nice, but the experience was not worth the aftermath.

Madhuram Sweets is one of the famous sweets shop of indore and specially Chappan. It is known for serving quality in food items. I tried their Shahi Rasmalai and it tastes awesome it just melts in mouth..it cost Rs 90 which you'll find a bit overpriced at first but, taste and quality justifies the price. You definitely need to try this one.

We had Poha, Jalebi and Pav... Taste is good. I liked Jalebi.... Inside sitting seates are available.. price also ok...

It is one of the famous sweet shop in Chappan. I have tried rasmalai here. And here is my feedback Quality: Good Taste: Amazing Service is fast. You need to first take the slip from the cashier and then got the counter to take your order.

This place had less crowd and my experience told me why it was the case. The large shikanji glass had only sweetened milk but I was lucky enough to get a kishmish. I thought this is it. Then I saw someone being served the same large shikanji from a fresh container which had a lot of dry fruits. So this is review for a order that ive ordered an hiur before using zomato,i ordered rasgulla and rasmalai.and honestly people like these dont have any right to operate shops cause the food was not at all edible,was stinking and stale obviously

The place is located near the Vijay Chat House in the Chappan Dukan. I heard a lot about their Rasmalai and Gulab Jamun, and wanted to try the same. I tried the Rasmalai which is made from Girnar Cow Milk and is white in color with a texture different from the normal Rasmalai, served in Kulhad. The Rasmalai was really good in taste, not too sweet, creamy texture and pure flavour of milk. The cost of INR 80 per plate is justified as the quantity is good and the cost of Girnar milk is comparatively high. Must try if you are in Indore.
