I found the behaviour of the staff rude in my multiple visits. Once when I met the owner I told him about it. He was unapologetic about it. His response to my feedback was that his employees are trained and don't misbehave. I felt a sense of arrogance and proudy attitude. Bottom line: Avoid visiting this place. That aside, the quality, taste and presentation of their products are good. Not good enough to justify their exorbitant prices. 👎

त्योहार के दिन आपने हमें इतनी घटिया और बासी मिठाई दी कि न सिर्फ हमारे रिश्तेदारों के सामने हमारी नाक कट गई, बल्कि जब कुछ लोगों ने पूछा कि “ये गंदी मिठाई कहाँ से ली है?” तो आपका नाम भी खराब हुआ। किस बात का मतलब है ऐसा पैसा कमाने का, जब आप त्योहार पर भी अच्छी क्वालिटी की मिठाई नहीं दे सकते? आपने हमारा और अपना दोनों का नाम खराब किया। हमने आपकी दुकान पर लाइन में लगकर मिठाई खरीदी थी, इस उम्मीद से कि स्वाद और गुणवत्ता बेहतरीन होगी, लेकिन अब हम खुद को ठगा हुआ महसूस कर रहे हैं।

I ordered bunch of sweets to carry to Geneva , Switzerland including Kaju Katli, Soan Papdi, Anjeer Dry fruit and Motichoor laddoo! While my order came 5 days before my travel , when I opened the sweets in Swiss , the taste was absolutely intact. The motichoor laddoos are packed in foil which ensured they remained round and did not break at all. Our Swiss friends were blown away by how Soan Papdi melted in their mouths ! I told them with great pride that the sweets were brought all the way from my home town Indore! Thank you for such consistent taste and impeccable service !

Disappointing Experience – Not Worth the Hype! I went to Agrawal Sweets this Diwali with high hopes and ended up utterly disappointed. I spent ₹5,000 on a range of sweets – Kaju Katli, Boondi Ladoo, and others – and every single one of them was stale, hard, and completely lacked freshness. It genuinely felt like they were 10–15 days old. This was a classic case of “Naam Bade, Darshan Chote.” Despite the huge crowd and long queues outside, the quality inside was terrible. It seems Agrawal Sweets is now surviving purely on its old name, while new players like BhawriLal are setting much better standards of taste and freshness. For a shop with such a big reputation to serve substandard sweets on Diwali is unacceptable. Highly disappointed — not visiting again and wouldn’t recommend it to anyone.

If you pay more, you expect higher quality, quantity and nut availability. However, Agarwal is deceiving customers with high prices and lesser quantities. I advise caution when purchasing sweets and namkeens here. This is an excellent Sweet Shop at Indore. You will find unbelievable variety of sweets here. The display too is just superb and totally in style. They mention best before date on display so that the Customer can decide what stuff to buy. This time when I visit the shop it had very few variety of sweets because it was the next day of Holi and it was quite obvious Indore people are sweet lovers and Holi is the festival of sweet n colours. Still I could buy some Aata and Gond Laddus. This is an amazing delicacy of the shop I will certainly recommend to try it at once.
