Maruti Suzuki Driving School

Just wrapped up a 10-day driving course at Ocean motor driving school and wanted to share my experience. On the driving instruction itself, I'd say they definitely delivered! Over the course, I covered a really comprehensive range of skills. We tackled everything from the fundamentals of **braking** and mastering tricky maneuvers like **parallel and reverse parking**, to building confidence with **highway and traffic driving**. I even got experience with **bridge driving** - which was a first for me! Overall, I feel much more prepared to hit the road thanks to the practical driving instructor Miss Arpita arya. The instructors were generally knowledgeable and I felt like I learned a lot behind the wheel. The variety of driving scenarios they exposed me to was definitely a highlight and helped build my confidence quickly. However, there are definitely a few areas where ocean motors could significantly improve the overall learning experience. These points, while not impacting the core driving instruction *too* much, did detract from the overall positive experience: **Room for Improvement:** ***Course duration*** : 10 days on road should be increased to minimum 15 days , as sometimes 1 hour a day not sufficient to learn perfect driving, things like shopping mall parking, judgement on left and right side should be practiced on first in dedicated time, if including night drive for 1 day would be great. * **Simulator Session Environment:** The simulator sessions, while helpful for practicing specific skills, were unfortunately held in a very noisy and distracting environment. It was difficult to fully concentrate and immerse myself in the simulation with the general office noise. **Ideally, the simulator should be in an isolated, peaceful space to maximize its effectiveness.** * **Theory Class Noise & Environment:** Similarly, the theory classes suffered from the same issue. Being held in a small office space meant there was a lot of distracting background noise. **A dedicated, quieter space for theory sessions would be a huge improvement for focus and learning.** Theory classes should be completed in 2 days for 1 hour a day , no need to put 4 days with 20-30 minutes session to waste time. * **Cleanliness:** The general cleanliness of the facilities could be improved. This is just a basic comfort and professionalism factor that would enhance the overall impression. * **Focus on Time vs. Teaching:** While punctuality is important, the school seemed overly focused on timekeeping to the detriment of a more flexible and student-centric approach. The rigid policy of deducting minutes from your simulator session if you were even 5-10 minutes late, regardless of whether the next slot was booked or not, felt quite inflexible and a bit unprofessional. **A slightly more understanding approach, prioritizing the learning experience over strict adherence to time, would be appreciated.** It felt like the focus was more on the clock than on ensuring effective teaching. **In Conclusion:** Ocean motors definitely delivered on the core promise of teaching me to drive and equipping me with essential skills. I feel more confident and prepared for the road ahead. However, to truly elevate the learning experience and become a top-tier driving school, addressing the environmental issues in the simulator and theory sessions, improving cleanliness, and adopting a slightly more flexible and student-focused approach to time management are crucial. **If you are primarily focused on getting practical driving skills and can tolerate a less-than-ideal learning environment, it will get you driving. But if a peaceful and professional learning environment is a high priority for you, consider asking about these improvements before enrolling or exploring other options.**

Awesome experience. Lucky sir taught very well and made me completly confident to start driving. I will recommend to learn professional four wheeler driving here.

Had a great experience in Maruti driving school, Ocean Motors where I learnt through theory, Simulator and practical sessions of total 21 days. Mr. Sanju Solanki sir guided me very well throughout he practical sessions through various places.

It was very nice experience with Ocean Motors Driving School. I learnt very quickly driving. I completed a 10 day basic training with Sanju Sir. He is a very good and patient trainer, who teaches you with safety and also the rules and gives excellent tips while driving.

First of all the instructor is very good. In my case the @Radha mam is a instructor and she gives the 100 percent effort in learning. Before joining I don’t know about how to drive but now i have completed the practical session and then i drive my car confidently.

My son and I shared a great experience learning to drive at Maruti Driving School (MDS) Ocean Motors. Initially,I had no knowledge about driving and I was scared to drive on road. After joining MDS Indore,my confidence level grew. First, we attended 5 days of theory classes by a professional Instructor.Then, we had 10 days of driving training on the Simulator.The Simulator is very helpful for beginners.MDS 's Instructor trained us properly before we started driving on the road. My Instructor Radha Madam was very professional and patiently trained me properly, emphasizing safe driving practices and providing me training on the road safely and with responsible driving behaviour. I really enjoyed it. Thanks MDS.

MDS Ocean Motors is a great place for any beginner to learn driving. The staff here is friendly and very supportive. The positive approach of the staff here helps to motivate any learner. The 21 day driving course is really worth. The theory sessions helps to learn theory of car driving, the simulator sessions gives a grip to get acclaimed to car. And the practical sessions helps you learn and know how to tackle different situations on road other than driving. Thank you Sanju Sir(Practical driving coach) for teaching me how to judge the road, the vehicle that overtakes, the perfect parking lessons and taking me to all kinds of roads around the city. The crossroads that scared me on the first day were fair and not so difficult by the 7-8th day.
