The First Bark House (Pet Shop)

It was a wonderful experience! From the moment I visited, I felt like part of the family. I bought a Saint Bernard male puppy, and he was even more adorable than I had expected. The quality of the puppy was outstanding, and the grooming, pet food, and other services were all excellent and very affordable. The staff was friendly, helpful, and genuinely cared about pets. Highly recommended—one of the most trusted and happiest places for pet lovers!

⭐ 1/5 — Extremely Disappointing Experience! Think 100 Times Before Buying a Puppy From This Shop! I am extremely disappointed with my experience with The First Bark House (Pet Shop) and its owner, Ishu Sahu. I have rarely experienced such unprofessional behaviour from a business owner. Before purchasing a puppy, everything seemed fine, but once the payment was made, the attitude and customer service were completely different. I purchased a German Shepherd puppy for ₹26,000 (with documentation) 😱 and also bought approximately ₹9,000 😱worth of pet products from his shop. That’s a total of ₹35,000 🤦🏻spent at his business. And what did I receive in return? Ignored phone calls, unanswered WhatsApp messages, repeated excuses, and absolutely disappointing after-sales service. Whenever I ask about the pending documents, I keep hearing the same excuse: “Documents are on the way.” How many times can a customer be expected to believe the same statement? Mr. Ishu Sahu, please understand one thing: When someone buys a dog, they are not purchasing a product for just 1–2 years. They are welcoming a family member into their home for the next 14–15 years, sometimes even longer. Proper documentation, transparency, honesty, and support are extremely important. For a pet owner, it is never just about money. It is about trust, emotions, responsibility, and the well-being of an innocent animal. The most disappointing part is not even the ₹35,000 I spent. It is the complete loss of trust. I am someone who regularly recommends good businesses to friends and family. In fact, I have already helped 3–4 people find puppies through sellers I genuinely trusted. I could have brought many more customers to this shop as well. But after this experience, I will NEVER recommend The First Bark House or Ishu Sahu to anyone. You haven’t just disappointed one customer. You have lost a customer who could have recommended your business to many others over the years. To everyone planning to buy a puppy from this shop: Please be extremely careful. Before making any payment, make sure you receive all promised documents, verify the puppy’s health and vaccination records, and get every commitment in writing. Do not rely only on verbal promises. I have attached screenshots of my WhatsApp conversations so that people can see the communication and judge the situation for themselves. Mr. Ishu Sahu, running a pet shop is not just about selling puppies and collecting money. It is about building trust with families who are bringing a living being into their homes. A ₹35,000 sale might be just another transaction for you, but for me, it was the beginning of a lifelong responsibility toward my dog. I genuinely regret choosing this shop. My final verdict: Extremely poor customer service, disappointing communication, repeated delays in promised documentation, and a complete lack of professionalism in my experience. ⭐ 1 Star — I would not recommend this shop to any pet lover. Trust takes years to build, but one terrible customer experience is enough to destroy it.
