BungalowMakers / Architecture , Interior design and House construction Company

Their overall work quality has been quite disappointing. Most requirements have to be explained repeatedly, and they often prepare plans based on their own assumptions without properly reviewing the requirement sheet. Communication is also a major concern, with a significant communication gap and very limited accessibility. There appears to be a lack of clear accountability, defined timelines, and ownership of tasks. As a result, most matters continue to move in circles without proper closure or progress. Based on my experience, I would strongly recommend avoiding working with this team and maintaining a safe distance from them, as the lack of communication, accountability, and professionalism can lead to unnecessary delays and frustration.

My experience with this team has been highly disappointing and far below what I expected from a professional architectural service. The biggest issue is the lack of coordination and communication. Requirements discussed with one team member are apparently not communicated properly to the person actually working on the project.Team members keep changing, which means the client has to repeatedly explain the same requirements. Requested modifications often lead to multiple rounds of discussion without any meaningful progress.I would strongly recommend potential clients to carefully consider these issues before engaging with this team. Based on my experience, I would not recommend their services to anyone who values timely delivery, clear communication, accountability, and peace of mind.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I had a wonderful experience taking architectural services from Bungalowmakers for the design of my house. I would especially like to appreciate the owner, Mr. Ashwin Mandloi, for his excellent technical knowledge and experience in architecture. He understands the practical aspects of house construction and design very well and guided us at every stage of the project. The entire Bungalowmakers team is also very technically sound, professional, and supportive. They patiently understood our requirements, provided practical solutions, and guided us on various aspects of the design and planning. Their attention to detail and technical expertise gave us great confidence throughout the process. I am really happy with the overall experience and the way they helped us shape our vision into a well-planned and beautiful home. I highly recommend Bungalowmakers to anyone looking for professional architectural services and a technically strong team. Thank you, Mr. Ashwin Mandloi and the entire Bungalowmakers team, for your guidance and support in designing our dream home! 🏡✨

Do NOT hire Bunglowmakers — 5+ months, incomplete work, constant excuses I engaged Bunglowmakers for a complete house plan — ground floor plus first floor — for a farmhouse in the heavy-rainfall belt of northern Kerala. I paid the full amount of Rs. 20,000 upfront, based entirely on their confident promises and a 15-day timeline. Five months later, the project still isn't complete. What actually happened: • No real design input from them. I gave them my requirements; they simply converted my own layout into a CAD drawing. Nine or ten "revisions" later, there was still no evidence of actual architectural thinking — no consideration of ventilation, natural light, door/window placement, or movement flow. That's the core service I paid for, and it never showed up. • They tried to walk back the first floor after the agreement was signed. The first floor was explicitly part of the deal from day one. Once the ground floor was done, they claimed the first floor "couldn't be done" unless I paid more. Their own Technical Head, Adarsh Sharma, and the proprietor, Ashwin, both told me at one point they "cannot offer the service" — before reluctantly agreeing to continue. • Structural design felt arbitrary, not engineered. They proposed a 36-column structure and asked if I was "okay with it," which left me wondering whether decisions were being made to please me or based on sound engineering. Despite repeatedly requesting a structure that supported a sloped Kerala-style tiled roof suited to heavy rainfall, they kept defaulting back to a bare ground-floor-only structure. • Elevation drawings were a fight at every step. I had to push repeatedly just to get all four sides of the building drawn. They initially showed the compound wall in place of the actual building height, delayed the full elevation, and only made changes (wall color, exposed stone) after extensive back-and-forth. • Electrical and plumbing planning was careless. As one example: a single fan was placed in an 11×19 ft room. When I flagged it, the response from their Technical Head was: "Accept our design or leave it — we don't care." • The default answer to every request was "not included in the package." Any legitimate ask for competent design was met with this line, despite it being core to what architectural service should mean. • Communication was painfully slow. After providing feedback, silence for a week was standard, followed by only minor tweaks when I chased them. Bottom line: This firm collects full payment upfront on the strength of polished promises, then delivers CAD tracing of your own ideas rather than actual architectural design — and resists every reasonable request as "extra." Five months in, my project remains unfinished, and getting even basic changes required constant arguing. My advice to anyone considering them: Don't pay the full amount upfront, get the complete scope (including both floors, structural details, and elevation for all sides) written explicitly into the agreement, and go in with your eyes open — or better, look elsewhere entirely. A good architect should be solving problems for you, not creating new ones for you to fight over. Just expressed my opinion and views about this architect firm... with a request to be cautious while placing any orders...only idea is you should not get trapped like me..

My experience with the bungalow maker was very good. I really liked the way they listened to all my suggestions and requests and comeup with the best possible solution. Also Mr. Vishwajeet singh was very kind and supportive through out the project.
