Banana Leaf Restaurant is a must-visit! We tried the dosa, which was absolutely delicious, and also packed Hyderabadi tomato korma with idlis—everyone loved the taste. The service was warm and welcoming. I truly wish they had an outlet in Delhi/NCR. Definitely a place to visit with your family! If you are coming here for authentic south Indian flavour. Then please dont. I ordered chettinad dosa which was highly spicy aloo bada filling with khatta meeta sambhar. Thali was better but NOT absolute south Indian.

Been going to Banana Leaf for years and have always loved it for its authentic taste and service but today the service was beyond pathetic. It was Sunday night so some crowd was there but most people like us were left with no waiter attending them. Zero accountability and pathetic behaviour from the service staff and Mr. Prem at the reception. Took them an hour to get us ghee idli. Had to cancel and walk out as the last resort. Really hope the staff is trained to deal with weekend rush. Food: 3 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 2

I am a regular customer, but my recent visit was disappointing. The idli and uttapam were not up to the usual standards. The uttapam seemed undercooked, and the idli was not good. The dosa was excellent, but the overall experience was not what I've come to expect from your restaurant."

The variety of south indian dishes is quite good. I always end up ordering steamed idli, palak idlis, masala dosas and uthpam. Must try rasam and even sambhar is almost perfect. One of the best places to eat South Indian cuisine in Indore city.
