Fairfield by Marriott Indore

I had booked Fairfield by Marriott as I use Marriott Bonvoy for my business and personal trip all over the world. This booking was my worst experience ever and will not be coming here again. Thankfully we stayed one night. We checked into the room but when we used the bathroom it had urine smell , we rang housekeeping no response. The upholstery bedding and bath linen is woven out , needs to be replaced immediately. Bed linen is rough and covers have bubbles on it. Bath towel which is white colour was brownish and not clean we requested additional towel as the housekeeping staff did not keep hand towels or extra towels for a room for two people. We had to ask then they provided. The wash basin was clogging every time we washed our hands or brushed Breakfast was horrible… indore is famous for its food and hospitality but the Marriott chef needs changing as his Indian culinary skills weren’t good enough. Please don’t attempt replicating continental breakfast as it’s not your forte and it was a flop Dishes and cutlery need hygiene as not clean and stained from previous use. Restaurant staff were well mannered and kept checking with everyone at the breakfast table. The front desk didn’t bother even after complaining about the smell, only replaced the towels and nodded politely’sorry ‘ for the breakfast etc Trip type Vacation Rooms: 1 Service: 3

Wish could give 10 stars instead of 5 for the excellent hospitality and service received at this property. Everyone from the folks at the reception, chef and the cafetaria support staff namely Chef Dheeraj, if I remember his name correctly , Abhay and one more staff whose name I can't recall at this stage since we visited in November took such good care of our entire family's food choices and ensured someone was attending to us at all times. We were a group of 7 and they enthralled us all with their great attitude and service. Also service support staff by the name Sawan was a great help in ensuring our smooth checkout. This property has my highest recommendation. Rooms: 4 Service: 5 Location: 5

Pathetic coordination and services. Leaking/stained commode, broken bathroom door and curtains. Seems hotel is used for training Marriot rookies, no professional behaviour by staff. Zero hospitality. I literally had to beg for room cleaning for all 3 days of my stay, when even at 4pm no one showed up. And, front desk guys or hotel manager don't bothered. Staff seems has no training on greeting/smiles, roaming around with blank faces. To make things worst, sufferd food poisoning. On left boundary wall there is Daroo theka, all labour class crowd there. Can't think of taking a walk in evening. Very bad location as well. Trip type Vacation Travel group Family

In the heart of city, the hotel offers decent accomodation. However, basic housekeeping elements need improvements. For exanple, my shower had no body wash and had a pair of conditioners 😛, instead of a conditioner and shampoo. I checked another room and it had the same issue. This is a basic housekeeping activity that the housekeeping manager should easily check. There was some foul smell in the corridors of each floor which they were suppressing with automated spray, which at times was overwhelming. Bathrooms wooden parts are a bit worn , lack of maintenance . Overall room is good, nice clean, bright daylight in rooms! Service is good, location also is quite good… incidentally karna aujla s team Innovation was staying at the same time ! Doors are not sound proof! So speak carefully and be ready to be disturbed if some neighbours are loud in the corridors! Room service food was OK. I didn’t try the restaurant … gym is quite small with only one treadmill and one cross trainer ! We booked this venue for a family function and expected much better service considering the amount we paid. The floating starters were not circulated properly, and guests had to wait a long time. Many guests didn't receive the starters at all and left without having them. The overall service was poorly managed, taste was average and did not justify the high price. Very disappointing experience. Overhyped. Travel group Family

Staff were helpful and ready to assist. The food was good, especially the dahi puri. 5 stars for staff and their prompt service. When we checked in, the bedsheet was dirty and torn, the chair was dirty, and the floor was not clean. We informed the staff and they fixed everything. I feel they should have checked all these things before giving us the room. Still, the stay felt more like a budget hotel and not worth the price we paid. Great location, check in process was fast. The rooms are spacious but this is an old property and it is showing signs. The chairs and the curtains are very dirty. No hair dryer in the rooms. Ok if you just want to spend a night and move on.

I am extremely disappointed with my stay at the Fairfield by Marriott, Indore. We booked Room 6014 for a two-night stay starting June 14th. However, the conditions were so poor that we felt compelled to check out the very next day. As a guest choosing a Marriott property, I expected a basic standard of cleanliness, but this experience fell completely short.The room was incredibly dirty upon arrival. The linens, bedsheets, and covers had a noticeable, unpleasant odor. To make matters worse, the room was poorly maintained—none of the power outlets or plugs were working properly, making it impossible to charge our devices.The bathroom was in an equally unacceptable condition and had not been cleaned properly, with visible stains everywhere. I did not expect this level of neglect from the Marriott brand. I hope management addresses these hygiene and maintenance issues immediately, as this was an entirely unacceptable experience.
