Worst ever Dal Makhni They served. It was sweet like A lot of Sugar being added inatead of Salt. And when we complained their respose was even pathetic. They said its becuase of Tomato. Later we asked to change it. But they added a spicy gravy of some curry. And they Were not even apologetic about it. One of the worst ever experience. I believe this is the only review where I have given 1star to a restaurant.. HI guys, Visited the place with my best friend who visited indore after 6 -7 years, he wanted to eat at authentic dhaba and i wanted to try K2 as i have always seen the place while crossing from by pass . sitting and ambiance is as expected from a dhaba even khatiya option is available. Now talking about the food, I ordered manchow soup, masala papad, sev tamatar, dal makhani , garlic and chilly garlic nan. soup was okayish too much oily and too thin, didnt had smooth texture, taste was also ok.. sev tamatar was nice and tasty , dal makhani was too average in taste. garlic nan was too thick and not properly cooked. service is fast and cost to quantity ratio is great. overall hospitality is better than i expected. they need a little improvement in food and quality, even the hygiene looked great. overall better dhaba options are available with long drive, not recommended. I genuinely hated my experience here, entirely due to the extremely poor service. The staff was inattentive, and it felt like a massive chore just to get anyone to help us. No matter how the food tastes, it is not worth dealing with such a disorganized and dismissive front-of-house team. I will not be returning and cannot recommend this place to anyone. If you are planning to stay at Shree Shyam Hotel, please double-check every charge before booking. They charge extra for things that should normally be included. Felt more like a money-making place than a hospitality service. The customer service was weak, room cleanliness was average, and overall experience was frustrating. Instead of enjoying the trip, we had to argue about unnecessary charges. Definitely not recommending this place to anyone visiting Ujjain. Food: 2 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1
